Hazardous experiment

Article Abstract:

A member of parliament representing a constituency in Cambridgeshire, England, disapproves of government plans to reconsider a 4.3 million sq ft extension to the Genome Campus, located in Cambridge. The site is owned by Wellcome Trust. Opposition to the plan are fearful further development on greenfield land around Cambridge will go ahead, if it is permitted. Supporters of the scheme point out the restrictions to development around Cambridge have curtailed growth in the biotechnology sector. Others are keen to make the area a focus for new biotechnology industries.

Frischmann steps up battle with Osborne

Article Abstract:

Hawk Developments joint shareholders Trevor Osborne and Wilem Frischmann are continuing to battle over their entitlement to a stake in projects including the MAFF in Cambridge, England, and the MOD Main Building in London, England. Osborne believes that Frischmann does not have the right to a stake in projects that were originated and secured by Hawk because Hawk is a consultancy that has never developed or purchased a building. However, he accepts that Frischmann should have an equal stake in a PFI scheme in Southampton, England, and the Richmond Station project.
