Hitting a glass ceiling

Article Abstract:

The real estate market at Heathrow, England, has been boosted by the airport at Heathrow. Supply of office space has dropped from 1991 to 1994, and interest in development is rising. Stockley Park dominates the local market and this development has not yet been completed. Nearby Hounslow will see a town-center development on a 17 acre site, which Frogmore gained the right to develop in 1994. The development will involve both leisure and retail uses.

One step in front

Article Abstract:

The office property market in Newbury remains rather weak, despite Vodafone having recently signed a pre-let on The Dower House, a 10,650 sq ft office building being developed by the Lamron Wheeler partnership. The only other speculative office scheme is a 5,800 sq ft development which is scheduled for completion in Nov 1995. The Newbury office market is now made up almost exclusively of secondhand space.
