Homilies for a successful mediation

Article Abstract:

Alternate dispute resolution (ADR) has become an increasingly attractive option among attorneys and their clients to solve the latter's problems with their firms because of the steadily growing costs of litigation. Mediation is one form of ADR but, unlike other forms of ADR, it s not a simplified adjudicatory method but involves indirect negotiation between disputing parties through a neutral third-party facilitator called the mediator. The advantages of mediation are many and there are at least 10 principles which should be observed to achieve successful mediation.
