Article Abstract:

Government guidelines on planning applications for business or industrial development covering distribution are being unfairly discriminated against by many UK councils, although the councils associated with the East Midlands were found to be generally positive towards employment and the development of the sector. All councils should establish a positive and workable development strategy to use for the progression of distribution development projects.
