Prime rents for retail space in Doncaster, England, have reached 100 pounds sterling per sq ft. Demand for retail space in Sheffield, England, is good, with prime rents achieving 200 pounds sterling per sq ft. The leisure market in Sheffield has been very buoyant but some bar and restaurant operators have faced problems obtaining alcohol licences. Demand for additional leisure space has slowed down.

A 1,394 sq mt leisure scheme is to be jointly developed by Langley Estate and Finnegans, while other plans include an art gallery linked with the Victoria and Albert Museum.
