Over here, over there

Article Abstract:

It is important to listen carefully before commenting, according to Insignia/ESG Executive Director of International Business Tom Bermingham. He recognizes that he must be sensitive in his role as Insignia's ambassador to Richard Ellis St Quintin. He believes that his task is to help in constructing the European platform for the business and to introduce the US culture to the firm's new partners and affiliates. He feels that there are more similarities than differences between Insignia and Richard Ellis St Quintin.

Roundabout route to success

Article Abstract:

The town of Brentwood has successfully attracted office occupiers recently, and this is turn is leading retailers to consider establishing a presence there, meeting office workers' shopping requirements. There are retail superstore plans for a number of sites in the town, but it is not yet certain whether consent will be granted. The main shopping centre, P and O Shopping Centres' Chapel High, now has some vacant units, and the company is considering linking smaller units to form larger outlets.

A lesson in regeneration

Article Abstract:

Plymouth's commercial property market suffers from the fact that road and rail links are not as good as industry leaders would like. However, the sector has been boosted recently with the expansion of the city's new university. There is also investment in the industrial sector, most notably English Partnerships' land reclamation scheme at Cattedown. This will meet strong demand for high quality industrial space.
