Pastures new for Stockley Park

Article Abstract:

Stockley Park is a premier UK business park located close to Heathrow Airport. The 350 acre site was established in 1985 and is now owned jointly by Chelsfield, Prudential and Japanese contractor Kajima. Chief executive of the development is Andrew Vander Meersch who has overseen the project since 1991. During that time he has seen the completion of phase one of the development and there remains just 23,000 sq ft unlet. The park has 80 acres of land left for development, which will be developed in two further phases.

Barclay seeks developers on bank sites in the City

Article Abstract:

Considerable interest has already been expressed by developers and owner-occupiers in plans by Barclay Property Holdings to seek offers of around 10 million pounds sterling for the redevelopment of 7-12 Gracechurch Street, London EC3, a Grade II listed building. Planning permission has already been obtained for a 70,000 sq ft scheme. Barclay will be making other similar offers at it seeks to reduce its portfolio in central London.

US insurer AIG ventures into Beckwith-RE funds

Article Abstract:

AIG of the US, an insurance company, is to take a 25% share of Beckwith Property Fund Management (PFM), which was set up to manage specialised international property funds investing in Spanish, French and central European markets. AIG will support the development of opportunities in the Far East.
