Photography by numbers

Article Abstract:

The Epson Stylus Photo A4 serial inkjet printer produces high quality images although it is too slow to generate a number of documents in a short period of time. It would be a useful tool for estate agents in the production of single photographs. It uses six colours, with cartridges costing around 15 pounds sterling. The Epson was found to be noisy. It costs 409 pounds sterling plus VAT. The Nikon Coolpix-300 digital camera is rather complex to operate. It would be useful in the work of a surveyor. The camera costs 638 pounds sterling excluding VAT. It does require a good supply of batteries.

Expertise to draw upon

Article Abstract:

Property developers can use CAD techniques to address the questions frequently asked by planners, such as how a building will affect the skyline and how a building will look inside. It is common for architects to use computers to design buildings using 2-D CAD drawings, and it is quite easy to convert this design information into visual images, forming virtual buildings. Animation can present a site as it would appear to somebody approaching it, while panoramic views can be used by agents and developers to show a client how the building will look inside.
