Playing a lone hand in Pall Mall

Article Abstract:

Arcona is investing three in real estate projects in London, England. The company has a 45% stake held by Scandinavian Bank Group, and is involved in a JV with AMP Asset Managers for one of the projects. The project is a rebuild in Pall Mall scheduled to be finished in Sep 1995. Another JV has been set up with Norwich union to redevelop a site in Golden Square, west London. Patrick Despard is the managing director of Arcona, and he is seen as hard working and able to time his investments well.

Leung is DTZ's star in the Far East

Article Abstract:

DTZ Debenham Thorpe (UK) has linked with Hong Kong property concern CY Leung and Co., allowing it to establish a formal presence in the Far East. CY Leung is a key figure in Hong Kong, and his firm employs almost 300 people, nearly all of whom are Chinese. This will give DTZ access to the extensive market in China.
