Premium hikes in offices

Article Abstract:

The commercial insurance industry in the UK is facing a decline in premium levels and increased competition particularly from European insurance companies. The UK insurance companies are reducing their costs by the increased use of technology and through some companies cutting their manpower requirements by merging. Some observers suggest that premiums will increase slowly with many clients choosing to negotiate insurance cover over a three-year period. The two IRA bombs in the business centres of Manchester and London failed to increase trade for insurance companies.

Real snow forecast

Article Abstract:

Some industry experts suggest new real snow indoor ski centres should be built along side other leisure facilities. Others point out the ski centres have a specific market and therefore can attract sufficient custom if constructed on their own. The 106 dry ski slopes in the UK may face increasing competition from real snow facilities. New real snow ski centres are under consideration for North West England, Yorkshire and London. They cost around 10-15 million pounds sterling to develop. The only UK centre, is in Tamworth, England, which has 200,000 customers annually.
