Biopharmaceutical industry is flourishing in Utah. The essential facilities available in Utah conducive to the growth of life sciences industry are discussed. A comparison of these facilities and economic incentives, with those being offered by Colorado, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming is presented. A brief profile of NPS Pharmaceuticals, a company based in Salt Lake Valley is also presented.
