Technology supercharges IDRC's circuits at Alburquerque record-buster

Article Abstract:

The International Development Research Council, the world's preeminent corporate real estate association, plans to use cutting-edge technology to gain a strategic position in the business. Participants in its World Congress for Corporate Real Estate Executives in Albuquerque, NM, on Oct. 28-Nov. 1, 1995 were urged to support the plan to benefit from the numerous advantages offered by the information superhighway. Speakers at the conference said that companies who will refuse to think about the future of the real estate in relation to technology would become industry laggards.

The corporate agility revolution: get loose or lose

Article Abstract:

The International Development Research Council's conference in New Orleans, LA, emphasized the role of corporate real estate on a company's agility and flexibility. Agility and flexibility are new management terms that pertain to the ability of a company to respond to the market including the use of corporate assets, such as real estate. Other management options that would make real estate a flexible asset include lease options and outsourcing.
