Dynamics of inter-Korean conflict and North Korea's recent policy changes: an inter-systematic view

Article Abstract:

North Korea's recent economic and foreign policy changes are examined from an inter-systemic perspective. The analysis on the dynamics of the inter-Korean conflict and North Korea's recent policy changes shows that despite North Korea's comparative failure, its leadership had neither been fully disillusioned about the feasibility of the system-maintaining alternative nor found a way to reform its system without breaking it down.

Mongolia's DPRK policy: Engaging North Korea

Article Abstract:

A study to analyze the overall development and future prospects of bilateral relations and various aspects of the engagement policy that Mongolia that has intensified with North Korea (Democratic People's Republic of Korea, DPRK), in order to improve relations is conducted. Mongolia has formulated an independent foreign policy that is based on its own national interest and free from socialist ideology with the DPRK.

Playing by the rules in Korea: lessons learned in the North-South economic engagement

Article Abstract:

The common problems that the South Korean firms faced in their business dealings with North Korean entities and the possible solutions to it are analyzed. U.S. and South Korean investment encouraged North Korea to play by the rules of capitalist market exchange.
