Entretien avec Daniel Sernine

Article Abstract:

Daniel Sernine, a science fiction writer from Quebec, attracts both adult readers and adult adult fans. He publishes the magazine 'Lurelu' on young adult literature and is the literary director for a series of young adult novels. Sernine's works include 'Chronoreg,' 'Les Portes mysterieuses,' 'Maure a Venise,' 'Organisation Argus,' and 'L'Arc-en-cercle.' Sernine actually studied to be a librarian and became aware of a gift for writing later on. As a science fiction writer, he considers that the label 'stupid' applies better to the human race than 'good' or 'bad.' The atmosphere in his novels is overwhelmingly sad but hope remains at the individual level. The text of the article is in French.
