Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm's ideology of folkloric purity that is depicted in their novel Kinder-und Hausmarchen is presented. The narrative style of Heinrich Heine in his book 'Der Rabbi von Bacherach' as viewed by the Grimm's brothers is discussed.
