The 2003 OCAPG Award

Article Abstract:

The Ontario Chapter of the Association of Professional Genealogists offered an award for the best short essay on an unresolved problem in genealogical research in Ontario. The prize winning essay by Catherine Whiteley is included along with the professional analysis by members of the association of avenues for further research. Catherine wrote about searching for the origins of Peter Thomson who was the first Superintendent of Algonquin Provincial Park in the early 1890s.
