A great train robbery

Article Abstract:

The West Highlander sleeping-car express service from London Euston to Fort William is one of the most romantic railway journeys in the world. The West Highland line, which runs for 101.5 miles from Craigendoran to Fort William, represents the best in Victorian engineering, and attracts many travellers. However, the service is to be dropped soon, as it runs at losses of up to 3 million pounds sterling a year.
