A hat of his time

Article Abstract:

Actor Patrick Macnee believes that his unconventional upbringing by his lesbian mother was very helpful in allowing him to forge positive relationships with his female partners in the 1960s television series 'The Avengers' and the 1970s series 'New Avengers.' He is still very closely identified with Steed, the character he played in the series, even though he is now 75. He retains a certain possessiveness about the part, but rejects accusations that he abandoned the UK in 1969 for a better lifestyle abroad.

Looking for Al Pacino

Article Abstract:

Actors often have access to things which would remain beyond the experience of others, according to actor Al Pacino. They sometimes have unique opportunities to watch and observe, and this can be of great benefit when playing particular roles. He has played a number of underworld characters, but believes that each one is unique and has found them all inspiring. He is proud to be regarded as an influence on the younger generation of actors, but points out that he has a number of heroes of his own.

Searching for my dad, I discovered Austin Powers

Article Abstract:

Film actor Mike Myers felt extremely emotionally fragile after the death of his father from Alzheimer's disease in 1991. He continued to work on 'Saturday Night Live' and on making 'Wayne's World 2,' but eventually reached the point where he felt unable to carry on. He decided to take a year off, and with his wife retreated from the pressure of life. He took power skating lessons and visited places in the UK with connections with his parents.
