Andrew Neil is now firmly in the anti-Brussels camp. Any 'European' magazine edited by him would be better named 'The Sceptic.'(Media +)(Column)

Article Abstract:

Andrew Neil, editor-in-chief of The European, is keen to convert the publication, which currently combines elements of a newspaper and a magazine, into a weekly magazine along the lines of The Economist, but more glamorous. This approach is strongly opposed by the editor of The European, Charles Garside. It is becoming clear that Neil has strongly anti-European views, and these would inevitably come across in a new format publication. Indeed, Euroscepticism has become common among almost all newspaper editors in the UK.
