Salutary lessons in Army bigotry
Article Abstract:
There is still a very strong anti-gay policy in the UK armed forces, justified on the grounds that allowing gay and lesbian relationships could lead to a breakdown of discipline and morale. However, there are many observers who now question this policy, which is also facing legal challenges. The case of Caroline Meagher, who was obliged to use extreme methods to investigate alleged lesbian activity as part of her work for the Special Investigation Branch of the military police, has highlighted problems with the armed forces' approach to lesbian and gay relationships.

Article Abstract:

One of the strongest portrayals of 'Celtic' music recently is seen in 'Riverdance,' which is a spectacular show.
