'All they know is how to kill.' (Kenyan cult leader Joseph Kony's rebel Lord's Resistance Army)

Article Abstract:

Kenyan cult leader Joseph Kony's rebel Lord's Resistance Army currently has a strong advantage over the army of Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni. It is mainly composed of children from the Acholi tribe, who have been taken from their families, brainwashed and trained to fight. Up to 10,000 children, of whom 13% are girls, have been seized since the early 1990s. Children who have escaped or been captured in battle report that those who proved to be too weak for the harsh conditions or sought to escape were murdered.

African rebels who revel in their machete genocide

Article Abstract:

Rwandan Hutu rebels based in the Democratic Republic of Congo have attacked tourists in Bwindi National Park in Uganda, murdering Britons and Americans. These attacks are seen as revenge against the US and UK governments for supporting the new Tutsi-led regime in Rwanda, which is taking firm action against Hutu extremists. The new government is also seeking reconciliation, with more than half of its ministers being moderate Hutus.
