Amish are led into temptation as two face drugs-trafficking charges

Article Abstract:

Abner King Stoltzfus and Abner Stoltzfus, two unrelated members of the Old Order Amish, the most reclusive of all the Amish sects in the US, are to shortly face formal charges in the federal court of trafficking in cocaine. It is alleged that they consorted with members of the Pagans, a motorcycle gang known for violence, to purchase and distribute drugs among Amish youth groups in the farming communities of Lancaster County, PA. It has not been known for any Amish to have been charged with drug crimes before.

Money is the new rock'n'roll as stars take Bowie's lead

Article Abstract:

The decision by rock and roll star David Bowie to raise $55 million through the issue of bonds which were sold to Prudential Insurance has attracted considerable interest from other entertainers. Banks are now very keen to encourage these entertainers to raise money in this way, and Bear Stearns has even gone as far as to announce plans to package entertainment bonds. It is believed that the Rolling Stones have already negotiated a deal similar to that struck by Bowie.
