An out-of-town success in the Black Country

Article Abstract:

Private property companies have a number of advantages over those which must constantly be concerned about their share price, according to property developers Don and Roy Richardson, who founded Richardson Developments. When they had to clear the contaminated Round Oak steelworks site in Merry Hill, west Midlands, England, to build their extremely successful shopping centre, they did not have to worry about the impact of a contaminated site on their company's share price. The brothers are now able to pick and choose from among potential institutional investors for their new schemes.

Article Abstract:

It seems that most now have little real interest in the community which they claim to represent.
