The irresistible rise of Arthur Andersen

Article Abstract:

Almost all the UK's leading accounting firms are starting to see a recovery as the economy begins to improve. Partner numbers have been cut, although some have added more professional staff. The most spectacular growth has been seen by Arthur Andersen, which now ranks only behind Coopers and Lybrand. It denies that it is looking to become the leading accounting firm in the near future, preferring to focus on steady expansion.
