Article Abstract:

The overall aims of politics and business are different, but there are still many similarities between them. Both politicians and business leaders must address an increasingly competitive environment and must meet the expectations of voters or shareholders. In both cases, leaders must show long-term vision which reflects the complex nature of the environment in which they are operating. They must be capable of working with complexity and uncertainty, and must develop a strategy through which their vision can be put into practice.

Article Abstract:

The Marx Memorial Library in London, England, is currently staging an exhibition of the works of artist Austin Osman Spare. He developed an interest in magic and a sexual fascination with older women at an early age, and often worked in a trance state. He joined the occult group Brotherhood of the Silver Star in 1909, and was an official war artist during the first world war. His paintings were done in a range of eclectic styles, but all bear traces of his talent as a draughtsman.
