Black and Asian Britons still can't trust the police

Article Abstract:

Black and Asian Britons continue to lack real trust in the police force. The tradition of protecting racist police officers has not been abandoned, and police officers are still failing to protect black and Asian citizens properly. Indeed, police officers continue to assault, threaten and terrorize black and Asian people, as well as Irish people, for no good reason. When black and Asian people make complaints about police brutality, police forces simply use public funds to reach an out-of-court settlement.

The cruel truth about the way the courts treat kids

Article Abstract:

The UK judicial system currently offers no protection to children of violent absentee fathers. Such fathers are generally granted access to their children, sometimes with serious repercussions. Society believes that children benefit from having both their parents in their life, but this cannot be right if the father is violent and abusive. This situation is allowed to persist because children are still seen as possessions to be divided up between their parents after divorce.
