Black prince of Hollywood

Article Abstract:

Actor Will Smith has become extremely successful at the age of only 30. Indeed, his presence in a film guarantees its popularity, even if it is actually not really a very good film at all. His success seems to lie in the fact that he is able to avoid a specific niche and appeal to a mass audience. He remains firmly anchored in African American culture, but has also managed to gain film roles suitable for actors of any skin colour or ethnic origin. There is no sign of his popularity waning, but he is fully aware that this may eventually happen.
