Bloody terror that leaves children speechles with fear

Article Abstract:

Terrorism in Algeria has affected victims who survive in a number of ways. Children may not be able to communicate, and they may have problems with learning at school. They may also develop physical problems in response to the difficulty of dealing with trauma such as being raped or seeing neighbors massacred. Survivors may re-live massacres, and suffer from nightmares. The psychological strength of victims prior to their ordeal affects their ability to recover afterwards.

The end of a false marriage

Article Abstract:

Some observers are under the illusion that Bibi Netanyahu, the new prime minister of Israel, could indeed work to fulfill his promise of continuing the Middle East peace process. However, it is almost certainly futile to believe that the peace process will now be successful. Israel will continue to derive benefits from the concessions made to it by the west when it seemed that a peace agreement was a reasonable prospect, but it no longer really wants peace.

Palestinians fear bloody nightmare

Article Abstract:

The Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO) is starting to acknowledge privately that the peace process could soon collapse, leaving the danger of a very bitter conflict between Arab and Jew. The only other possible solutions are an alternative peace process focusing immediately on the final settlement and abandoning the interim settlement or allowing the present situation to remain temporarily until changes take place in the balance of power.
