Born-again to rock 'n' roll

Article Abstract:

The pop groups Queen and the Beatles are both releasing new records for Christmas 1995, with latest technology allowing them to use the voices of Freddie Mercury and John Lennon, both of whom died some years ago. Some observers view this as a cynical attempt to make more money, rather than to pay a genuine tribute to these performers. For true fans of these groups, these records can never really match up to those genuinely recorded by the whole group.

It's a game of two minds

Article Abstract:

The most successful participants in almost all kinds of sports are those who are able to completely eliminate from their mind any compassion for their opponent. Participants usually do not set out to glory in the defeat of their opponent, but they cannot afford to feel any sympathy. The only sport where this is not really the case is golf, where the players are intent on defeating the course, rather than each other.
