Article Abstract:
Irrational beliefs are emerging in the US as ordinary people try to come to terms with the terrorist attacks on Sep 11, 2001, and the aircraft crash on Nov 12, 2001, apparently an accident. It is argued that Americans are not well equipped to deal with a sustained campaign of terror.
