Come again

Article Abstract:

The members of rock group Echobelly were on the point of giving up when they were going through the worst stages of being sued by a former member, according to lead singer Sonya Aurora Madan. They only wanted to write and perform songs, but other pressures made this impossible. However, they have now managed to produce a new album, 'Lustra,' which has the potential to considerably boost the group's standing. The launch of this album will be accompanied by a world tour.

None more Purple

Article Abstract:

Relationships between the members of rock group Deep Purple are much calmer than they were in the past, according to singer Ian Gillan. He believes that the group has stood the test of time, thus gaining an element of respect. He feels that the group is still evolving and that it has not lost its creativity. He has little knowledge of current musical trends, but is aware that the sort of music with which Deep Purple is associated is becoming fashionable again.

Britpop's older brother

Article Abstract:

Success does not necessarily bring happiness, according to rock singer Stephen Duffy. He does not seek wealth or fame, and has not made very logical career moves. His new album, 'I Love My Friends,' is autobiographical, and contains some very attractive, self-mocking humour. The album reflects Duffy's many contacts in the rock music world, including contributions from members of Elastic, Blur and XTC, along with vocals from Aimee Mann.
