Diana didn't want a garden

Article Abstract:

It is very strange that 27 acres of Kensington Gardens in London, England, are being given over to a garden dedicated to the memory of Diana, Princess of Wales, given that she never showed any interest in gardens. It seems that this project is merely giving in to the lowest form of emotionalism. Diana, Princess of Wales, would not have wanted a shrine, and would have been horrified by the cost of this garden. The garden will cause great disturbance for local residents, and is also planned for development on a significant archaeological site.
