Some observers feel that these people should not be responsible for editing news coverage in this way, ensuring that the most disturbing images remain unbroadcast. Politics is a key determining factor in which images get broadcast in particular countries. In much of the third world, financial considerations are also important, and many African and Asian countries receive the same broadcasts, regardless of their politics.

Teachers are usually expected to maintain full control of their classes with total discipline at all times and are regarded as incompetent if this is not achieved. This is a totally unrealistic expectation because a person can never have perfect control over others. There will always be the occassional rebellion but it is not an automatic condemnation of the teacher as a failure. It is only an inevitable result of helping young people of diverse personalities deal with life and maturity.
