Film-making in the abstract

Filmmaker and curator Adam Clitheroe has been the driving force behind Abstract Art in Film, a festival of abstract films being held in London, England. The programme offers a broad historical insight into this form of filmmaking, but is also set to act as a significant reassessment of this history as it has affected contemporary abstract film and electronic and ambient dance music. Films to be screened include Stan Brakhage's 'Dog Star Man.'
