Has Imran bowled his last maiden over?

Article Abstract:

The personal life of former Pakistani cricketer Imran Khan has always attracted considerable media attention, and there has been much speculation about a possible marriage. However, his announcement that he is to marry Jemima Goldsmith, a part-Jewish university student who is much younger than him, has come as a great surprise. He had always said that he would marry a devout Muslim woman, probably in an arranged marriage. The Goldsmiths are an extremely rich family, and no member of the family therefore felt the need to earn any money by leaking details of the relationship to the media.

The Ice Maiden who wants France to say yes

Article Abstract:

French Minister of European Affairs Madame Elisabeth Guigou, nicknamed the Ice Maiden, coordinates the French position on European issues. She was involved in all conferences which led to the Maastricht treaty. She feels that 'Europe' has not been debated with the French general public and the Maastricht referendum gives them an opportunity to express their views. She believes the young are pro Europe and that Europe will be made through the people.

Guilty until proven innocent

Article Abstract:

People who are wrongly accused of child abuse find that they can never really clear their name, even if the police later clear them of any wrong-doing. It has become increasingly common for parents to be falsely accused by their adult children as more and more people seek counselling which prompts them to 'remember' incidents from their childhood. The British False Memory Society is now trying to help the victims of these false accusations.
