He's so nice, but crikey, they're rude

Article Abstract:

England football manager Graham Taylor, 48, was head boy of his Scunthorpe junior school and went to grammar school. He met his wife at school when he was 13 and she was 16. Graham was captain of all the local teams and represented England when he was 16. He played for Grimsby Town and Lincoln City, but did not surpass himself. A damaged hip stopped him playing when he was 28 and he became manager of Lincoln City. His ambition was to manage the England team, so he accepted the offer to manage Aston Villa to obtain suitable experience.

Article Abstract:

Jack Nicholson, 55, was born in New Jersey. He dislikes authority and had detention at school every day for a year. He ran away to California when he was 17 but intended to return to attend college. He tried acting instead. He got parts in cheap movies and helped produce some of them. In 1969 his small part in 'Easy Rider' made him a star. He has a daughter of 28 and a daughter of five. His usual fee for a film is $10 million. He dislikes violence and pornography in films and prefers to direct literate films.

Famous chef John Tovey runs the 13-bedroom Miller Howe hotel in the Lake District, England. He was born in Barrow-in-Furness in 1933 but escaped from an abused childhood by going to work in the Colonial Service in Rhodesia for nine years when he was 16. He became a hotel manager and tried to learn cooking in order to open his own restaurant. He looks on his staff as his family. He attributes the success of Miller Howe to the staff, most of whom have been with him for 13 years.
