Will the Earth move anyone?

Article Abstract:

There have been significant challenges associated with establishing the Earth Centre, a development on a 400-acre site where two coal mines once operated just outside Doncaster, England. There have been particular difficulties with funding, and it has been necessary to scale down the original plans. The centre has now opened, but some facilities and attractions are not yet operational. It consists mainly of a water purification plant which recycles water into ponds to sustain plant life.
