How Simon came out and was grounded

Article Abstract:

The UK House of Commons restablished the Naval, Army and Air Force Discipline Acts which forbids homosexuality in 1993. Homosexuality is tolerated in other national forces, such as Holland, Germany and France. Royal Air Force (RAF) air electronic operator Simon Ingram was investigated in Feb 1993 for alleged homosexuality. He admitted his homosexuality and has been asked to leave after 6 years of service. He is allowed courses for resettlement. Ingram did not realise that he was gay when he first joined the RAF.

And here's the bedroom...

Article Abstract:

A survey of almost 1,000 UK estate agents commissioned by Stuff magazine indicates that a small number take considerable liberties with clients' homes. Some admitted to having had sex in homes to which they had a key, while others had even given a party in a client's home. The Ombudsman for Estate Agents reports that the most common complaint made by buyers and sellers in 1997 was maladministration, followed by complaints about commission fees.

Stop the generals invading the bedroom

Article Abstract:

The UK is now almost the only European country which continues to ban gay men and women from its armed forces. The Ministry of Defence still states that homosexuality cannot be compatible with military service, and interrogates people suspected of being gay very thoroughly. Dismissing gay men and women from the armed forces is now thought to cost 10-20 million pounds sterling a year.
