A global chat with the man on the street, quite literally

Article Abstract:

The 'In Conversation' Internet art project in Brighton, England, brings together two very different types of conversation, linking Internet communications with people on the street, according to Susan Collins, who was responsible for initiating the project. She has found that people have been extremely interested in her approach, and that a Web protocol has even developed around the project. She now aims to take the project to other towns, investigating the different reactions of pedestrians.
