How the Mormons brought Salt Lake City to East Anglia

Article Abstract:

The Mormons are among the largest landowners in the UK, holding around 14,000 acres. They have become particularly strongly established in the counties of Norfolk and Suffolk, where they are seeking to establish their spiritual base. They have attracted some criticism, particularly in relation to European Union farming subsidies, but have responded positively with a high-profile public relations campaign. They are working extremely hard to convert local people, and do not seem to be deterred by constant rejection.

Cut to pieces by the jigsaw man

Article Abstract:

It can be a very complicated process to understand the state of mind of a psychopath, according to forensic psychologist Paul Britton. He feels that there is only a very precarious dividing line between normal life and the lives of psychopaths, and that childhood experiences are often the factor which pushes people into psychopathic behaviour. His work involves looking at all aspects of an offender's life, taking particular account of upbringing and formative influences.

You think your mum is invincible

Article Abstract:

Sue Riches believes that falling through the ice on an expedition to the North Pole brought her closer to her daughter Victoria, who was also on the expedition and fell through the ice too while trying to rescue her. This incident made Riches realize that her role as a mother to Victoria had been reversed, as she was relying on her daughter to save her. Victoria feels that participating in the expedition made her realize just how much her mother meant to her.
