How to Net a new job

Article Abstract:

It is becoming increasingly common in the UK for graduates to use the Internet to search for job opportunities or information about careers. However, it is important to be aware of how to use the Internet most effectively when entering the job market. Care should be taken to use the information available on company Web sites to become fully familiar with the company's business. Attention should be given to whether the company will genuinely suit your ambitions and abilities. It is important to avoid being too brief or too informal in online applications.

Adapt and survive

Article Abstract:

It is becoming increasingly important for employers in the UK to offer graduates a high level of flexibility. Employers must be willing to help graduates develop the career management skills they require, and this will in turn help to foster graduate loyalty. Similarly, graduates must also be prepared to be flexible. They must recognize that they have to create their own job opportunities, seeking potential in the least obvious places.
