If we are not the masters of the universe, who is?

Article Abstract:

Early civilizations did not view man as the ruler of the world, and it is hard to pinpoint exactly when this view first emerged. Humans no longer treat nature and animals which the same respect as early man, and now exploit the natural environment, rather than fear it. It is now time to distance ourselves from this view of humans as the most powerful force, realising that one day plants, not humans, may rule the world.

Fascism is with us, if only we will see it

Article Abstract:

People have become very reluctant over recent years to label anyone a fascist, as the term had become meaningless through overuse. It is now time to change this attitude and to recognise that fascism is on the increase again. Fascism can take many different forms, and it is therefore necessary to be flexible in the use of the term.
