US ready to fight war in 'two phases.'

Article Abstract:

Western military action against Afghanistan in response to the terrorist attacks in the US looks likely to be in two stages. In the ghost town called Belfast, the only sounds are the sirens

Article Abstract:

The conflict over the Orange Order march in Drumcree, Northern Ireland, is having a very negative impact on the Northern Irish economy. Pubs, restaurants, bars and nightclubs in Belfast, Northern Ireland, have been deserted since the conflict began, and small shops may not survive this sudden drop in income. There is almost no public transport in the city in the evenings, and many ordinary people are leaving the city to escape the tension.
