It pays to be smart in the City

Article Abstract:

The City of London still has a very male-dominated working environment, and this means that female PAs and secretaries are not always treated with the respect they deserve. Women working in these roles in the City of London must be willing to accept a great deal of responsibility and to be very flexible about the structure of their working day. Financial secretaries need to have detailed knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint, and must be prepared to handle complicated reports and large volumes of figures.
