'It's a vunderful, vunderful book

Article Abstract:

Ivana Trump, divorced socialite, is publicizing her first book, 'For Love Alone,' published by Pocket Books. Her agent, Robert Gottlieb, obtained the Dallas and Dynasty soaps' scriptwriter, Camille Marchetta to translate Ms Trump's tapes into a 523-page novel. The storyline is similar to her autobiography. Ms Trump's linguistic style is hampered by her limited English, although this is a feature of her interviews and lectures. She was born in Czechoslovakia and divorced Donald Trump, the former billionaire, amidst much publicity in 1990.

Founder of the New York Guardian Angels Curtis Sliwa admitted that he had faked some events when he first set up the subway vigilante group in 1978. Some suggest Curtis confessed to prevent exposure in the New York Times. Curtis and his wife Lisa give lectures, have a radio show and have published books. Curtis made his confession after he was shot in the abdomen in Jun 1992. Some ex-Guardian Angels describe the group as a cult which exists mainly as a restaurant security patrol.

Totally awesome dudes? No way! Way!

Article Abstract:

The comedy 'Wayne's World' has made 35m pounds sterling in the US. Michael Myers, creator and star, portrays the typical American teenager. Wayne and Garth in the film are obsessed with 'babes' and metal music, in a world where fantasy and parody combine. It is aimed at an audience saturated with television and pop; it is full of pop culture references. Suburban American youth culture has hardly changed from 1972-92.
