Cycling has become very popular in Paris, France, where there are now 120km of cycle lanes and more under construction. It is possible to cycle along the banks of the Seine and the Canal St-Martin on Sundays, when the roads are closed to traffic. The number of Parisians using a bicycle to travel around the city has risen fivefold since 1996 under the influence of Mayor Jean Tiberi. Visitors to the city can hire bicycles from a range of different outlets.

Article Abstract:

The Storm King Art Center in Mountainville, NY, is the largest outdoor sculpture park in the US. Some of the individual pieces are more than 70 ft high, and it is very interesting to catch sudden glimpses of them among the trees. It is possible to take a guided tour of the park, but walking through the landscape is the best way to see the sculptures. The dramatic atmosphere is heightened by the fact that there are no refreshment facilities.
