Keeping in step

Article Abstract:

The Kirov Ballet has frequently performed 'Don Quixote' in Russia, where it is extremely popular. However, it is only now bringing the ballet to London, England, where it will perform at the London Coliseum. The ballet, which was created by Marius Petipa, the founder of the Kirov Ballet, combines comedy and brilliance, and this has given it its lasting appeal. The Kirov Ballet is the only company to have really preserved the form and the spirit of the original ballet.
