The Warrington Museum & Art Gallery in Warrington, England, is staging a retrospective of the work of fashion designer Ossie Clark, who spent his formative years in the town. The retrospective is the result of collaboration between Cherry Gray, the museum's curator, and Celia Birtwell, Clark's creative collaborator and mother of his two sons. It gives a new insight into Clark, shifting the focus away from his demise as he became involved in homosexual encounters and drugs, the part of his life which has generally been highlighted.
