Let's talk about sex

Article Abstract:

There is considerable controversy in the UK about approaches to sex education in schools. Government policy allows primary schools to decide whether, and at what stage, to offer sex education, while secondary schools are obliged to do so, although parents may opt to withdraw their children. The Sex Education Forum believes that insufficient attention is given to relationships, emotions and values within current approaches to sex education. Some schools are now including sex education within a wider personal, social and health education curriculum.
