There is more to it than holly and ivy

Article Abstract:

Garden plants such as willow and beech have traditionally been used as the basis for attractive Christmas decorations. However, it is also worth considering using much more unusual materials. These could include red chilli peppers, cinnamon, dried orange slices and pomegranates. These provide a lot of colour, and can therefore be left undecorated. If preferred, they can be sprayed gold or silver.
